# Cant see main drive on OS

I resized my main drive (mounted on /) from 50 to 80Gb, but I can’t see that on my OS. Is it potentially some displaying problem or I’m just doing it wrong?

Hi,

You would need to restart (shutdown + start) your instance from the cloud dashboard. This will trigger the new size of the OS volume to show.
