Hi, the recommended approach in this situation is to login to web dashboard and use the “Hibernate” mode on the instance, which actually deletes the instance but keeps the volumes.
Then you can deploy a new instance and select your previous volume as the OS volume, or if its a non-OS volume you can mount it afterwards. Here is the instruction!
You will lose the running processes and the IP will change, but you get to keep the data.
